Learn to guide others in healing and developing movements that speak the body’s language, follows the connective tissue / the fascia, and the body’s fluid systems. An ingenious system that releases tension, pain, trauma, stress and regulates the nervous system.
The education is certified and the title is protected to ensure that the name reflects the high professional level you receive with the program.
I regularly offer courses abroad, so keep an eye on this page where courses regularly are updated, or write to me if you wish to arrange a course with me.
In 2019 I also offer this training in Belgium.
THE TRAINING
Within the training, we playfully explore and stimulate the sense’s early experience by working on the haptic sense. We work with somatic exploration and perception of information received from the nervous system through the movement of the body. We also work with the body’s ability to sense and move, the moving brain, kinesthetic sense and stimulation of the social nervous system. With the training to become a certified Fascial Flow® Guide you will receive tools that can be used for movement, improvement of well-being, pain management, stress and regulation of the autonomic nervous system, as well as regulation and improvement of posture.
AS A FASCIAL FLOW GUIDE YOU WILL GAIN
- A new view of the body.
- Understanding the body and it’s connectedness.
- Understanding the importance of connective tissue and fluids for posture.
- New sensations as a tool working with stress, shock and traumatization.
- Concrete tools for further work with your target group (students, clients, students).
- In a playful way, we explore and stimulate the senses early experience by working on the haptic sense.
- New tools for you to use every day and beyond.
- Increased contact and regulatory ability for your own bodily system that you didn’t even know you had.
- Learning the powerful tools of change that you can use with your clients.
ABOUT FASCIAL FLOW®
Fascial Flow® was developed by Jeanne Jensen. Based on 30 years of pioneering work, Jeanne has developed this unique combination of Continuum Movement®, Rolf Movement® and Body Mind Centering. You can read more about Jeanne’s work and experiences here.
Fascial Flow® comprises slow and gentle movements that allow for conscious contact with your bodily senses. The result is a wonderful experience of presence, focus and sensing in the body while the connective tissue and fluids in the body are explored.
In this way, the Fascial Flow® guides the body for relaxation while restoring vitality and regulating the autonomic nervous system. A great way to relieve stress while stabilising the way you are in the world. The result is mental, emotional and physical balance.
In addition to experiencing increased vitality, you will experience changes of inappropriate bodily patterns, a much better body posture, and better functionality in the body will result.
Fascial Flow® typically takes place in weekly workshops or shorter two day workshops, so that participants can expeience new findings through the regulating and stabilising of their bodies.
In 6 to 24 months, most people experience a clear difference in the body and consciousness, new learnings in the body begins to settle. This ensures a long-lasting effect, as Fascial Flow over time can change the connective tissue to become more flexible, resilient and resistant.
In all its simplicity, Fascial Flow is an invitation to be curious, exploratory, present and open to sensations in the body and mind.
CONTENT OF TRAINING
Learning takes place through physical movements and sounds that are performed individually and in pairs. Through the learned sequences we will, through the practice, investigate different layers and connections in the body as well as observe distortions, twists and turns and under- and overtensions.
The teaching offers:
- Understanding of the body structure and movement pattern, through theory and practice.
- Insight of the body’s own intelligence.
- Insight of the body’s resonance and perception in relation to inner and outer space.
- Self-awareness, strength and coordination to the whole body.
- Training in discovering of new tracks in the body.
- Increased resources and finding a new balance in the body.
- De-stress the nervous system by moving the connective tissue and fluids.
You gain both a theoretical and practical overview, and understanding of the larger connection in the body.
As part of the teaching material, the teaching will be recorded on video so that you subsequently can use it as a teaching aid.
STRUCTURE OF TRAINING
The training consists of 5 modules. Each module is structured around a series of movements that you can use directly in your own work after completing the module.
Each module has a main focus, however, the whole body is worked on across all modules:
